Beeley is a small, pretty village in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The village is situated in a rural area 4 miles east of Bakewell, Derbyshire, in the heart of England. The current Chapel was built in 1899 and converted into a dwelling in 1997.
The chapel and sunday school are both sunny, spacious and open plan. The main bedroom and bathroom are situated in the chapel itself on a mezzanine floor above a cosy sitting room with a cast iron stove. There is a large dining area which extends to the full height of the original chapel. The old sunday school has been converted into a 33ft kitchen/living room. Outside there is a garden terrace, which has beautiful views across the village and up a green and rolling valley. The large gothic windows of the chapel face south, east and west with extensive views of the open countryside in all directions.
